I received my bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University in Communications but my past boasts a background in everything from marketing, journalism, sales, graphic design, and economic development. My path has never been a boring one and I've had many unique positions including TV News Producer for a major metropolitan station and even Yellow Page Telephone Sales. I is an award-winning Graphic Designer winning the 2015 MARCOM Gold Award. I was recognized by the Hays Area Chamber of Commerce as the 2017 Rising Star in recognition of leadership and service within my profession and the community. Most recently, I graduated with the Leadership Kansas class of 2022. No matter my location or position I have always been community and outreach minded. It’s never just about the job but how I can make a difference in the world around me. At home, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 16 years, Kael, and three young children, Isaac (14), Judah (11), and Kadance (8).
