My primary area of specialization is technology-supported language learning, from theory to practice. My studies can be divided into four interrelated strands in terms of their focus: the creative use and development of technology to enhance students’ language skills; technology to promote students’ creative and higher order thinking; technology-supported environments as a new (and socially constructed) learning arena; and teacher education in technology-supported language learning. My most recent papers explore diverse related topics, including machine translation, context-aware technologies (location-based app), creativity, game-based learning, speaking app, and multimodality.
