My main research area involves the molecular improvement of rice using molecular breeding techniques. My research topic encompasses the study of the association of submergence tolerance and anaerobic germination with microsatellite markers to identify suitable tentative QTLs for the traits. I have also worked in microbiological and plant tissue culture laboratories as well. I describe myself as an individual who can cope with situations and deliver accordingly. I am continuously upgrading my research skill set in order to boost my progress.
