I am a first-generation college graduate from a low-income background that has an immeasurable passion for education, the English language, and social justice. I majored in English/Language Arts Education (secondary, grades 6-12) and minored in psychology at the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire, a campus which I love and miss dearly. I am most passionate about working with low-income populations, as it is a population that is close to my heart. I am currently finishing up my Fulbright fellowship in Bloemfontein, South Africa--working in an urban township school supplementing the English department.
