In my roll as Surface Warfare Officer with the US Navy, I was responsible for managing the completion of nearly 1,500 maintenance and equipment checks while overseeing the largest division of sailors on board the ship. In addition, my success in preparing and executing operations for varying landing crafts and departments afforded me the opportunity to be selected as a Command Legal Officer, assisting in various legal cases. My position within the Navy also provided me the chance to hone my skills across Microsoft Office, granting me a better understanding of the platform. Likewise, my continuing business education has granted me a proficiency in QuickBooks that will increase my effectiveness as an accountant. I look forward to leveraging my current knowledge, as well as additional knowledge I will accrue as I near graduation, to help promote the success of my future employer and their organization.
