In the future I am planning to earn my Master's Degree in either Social Work (with a concentration in Healthcare) or a dual program in Social Work and Public Health. I am also passionate about advocating for people with visible and invisible disabilities (chronic illnesses). I am goal-oriented and consistently seeking new opportunities for growth, especially in the medical field. I am currently working as a Chiropractic Assistant, which has been an amazing starting opportunity for me to gain healthcare experience before I go for my Master's Degree. This position has given me a great amount of experience in the medical field while also obtaining patient care hours. I have worked with a variety of populations including pediatrics, adolescents, young and older adults, and geriatrics. I am currently interested in obtaining a position where I can work alongside a social worker in a medical setting to mentor me before going for my MSW.
