Previous roles have been in Market Access and the way a large pharma organisation should respond and work more effectively with the NHS at all levels. I managed two teams one based in the head office whose role was to support the business and the brands in their marketing and understanding of the NHS and the other, field based, which supported the NHS to manage change and develop their capability and capacity. I spent a number of years working at an Industry level through ABPI and have represented companies on a number of high level cross NHS projects. I sit on the board of the NICE Implementation Collaborative (NIC) and lead two initial pilots that will devise the role, size and structure of the NIC. I also sit on the group responsible for the National Metrics Report, across Industry, DH, NICE and the HSCIC. Additionally having been at the start of the account management approach and recent NHS changes. A strong health economic and clinical background enables me to support the NHS in solutions considered over the longer term. My marketing (CIM) qualification adds a different dimension. It is not just good enought to prove something if you don't tell anyone. I have coached a number of people in these roles and have seen considerable return from this. I've worked on a number of projects to identify meaningful outcomes and then determine a communication plan to ensure development of these successes moving forward.
