I was a Psychiatry Specialist at Saudi German Hospital, El Madinah, Saudi Arabia from 2008 to 2011. I’m an International Fellow of American Psychiatric Association. I have a masters degree in Mental Health Policies and Services, Nova University of Lisbon, Portugal. I have a masters degree in Neuro-Psychiatry,Ain Shams university, Cairo - Egypt. I have a Hospital Management Diploma, Arab Institute for Continuing Professional Development. I’m author of AIMS-WHO (Assessment instrument of mental health services) in Egypt/2018. I was a coordinator of the following tasks and projects: -Developing of therapeutic procedures and its forms for therapeutic services. -Authorship of manual of mental health therapeutic procedures. -Organizing of auditing teams in each Mental Health hospital affiliate the General Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment to implement periodic internal auditing through the hospitals and develop well integrated network for therapeutic services. -Developing the procedures for referral system of psychiatric patients in mental health hospitals affiliate the General Secretariat. -Setting the rules and procedures for hotline of General Secretariat of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment about inquiries of mental health services. I was a Team Member of the following projects: • Strategic planning of mental health services. (with WHO) • National drug observatory. (with Council of Europe / Pompidou Group) • National mapping of addiction services in Egypt. • Addiction counselors accreditation. (with Council of Europe / Pompidou Group). • Screening of drug use in secondary schools in Egypt. (MedSPAD, with Council of Europe / Pompidou Group) • Development of evidence-based addiction prevention strategy. (with WHO) • National survey for mental health in Egypt. (with WHO).
