Through my internship experience at Makerspace Thailand, I was able to experience and broaden my knowledge about the various stages of innovation process through a variety of tasks and projects I worked on. The innovation process involved the conducting of primary and secondary market research, this lead to the development and prototyping of products and components, which ultimately led to a finalised tangible product. Specific projects include assisting in the development of children's educational activities for the 2016 National Science Fair in Bangkok, serving as a spokesperson for Makerspace at the 'Startup Thailand' exhibition in Chiang Mai, the creation and development of parts for 3D printers and drones, and the fabrication of certain components for an automated smart farm system.I was one of the few middle school students (high school during conference) selected to be trained with the high school students to become student leaders for the Round Square International Conference which was being hosted at our school. The leadership/sustainability training spanned a total of one year. During that time, we were familiarised with thinking sustainably. My role as a student leader during the conference is to facilitate discussion about sustainability and deepen delegates understanding of what sustainability truly is. Some things which we cover during sustainability training for the delegates are as follow: - Systematic thinking - Understanding sustainability - Incorporating the sustainability compass - Sustainable mindsets - Sustainable project planning - Leverage points. I attended a 2-week introductory enterprise course at Oxford Royale Academy. The 2-week course covered the basics of business management, economics, finance, management theory and several other topics.On the 12th of August, a JUMP program was held at UWCSEA for over 200 educators. The main purpose of the event was to empower educators through a fun, interactive way of learning. My role in this program was to help the JUMP facilitators run the program and co-facilitate some activities.In April, 2013 I attended a South East Asia Junior Round Square Conference at BCGS. The conference was attended by 128 delegates aged 12-14. The theme of the conference was "From little things, big things grow" was based around the idea that anyone can make a change, even the smallest of actions can make a big impact.I was one of the lead coordinators involved in hosting a joint regional EARCOS GIN conference at UWCSEA and SAS. Over 63 schools (700+ delegates) attended the conference. My role was to plan the conference from the start and help host\coordinate the conference.I was one of eight delegates from UWCSEA invited to attend a 2-day Global Issues Network (GIN) conference as a student delegate. I attended this conference when I was 5th grade and I was the youngest delegate at the conference. My aim was to gain insights on how to host a GIN conference to use to host our own conference at UWCSEA.86 students from G8-G11 were invited to attend a student leader JUMP training session. The aim of the program was to help give students the skills to be able to support teachers in training students to effectively lead a conference.140 students from the middle school were chosen to attend a 3-day JUMP leadership training program one week before the new school year commenced. At the end of the program we gained the position "JUMP Jr. Facilitator" which allowed us students to host, leadership training programs within our school.
