At the age of 19 he purchased his first property and at the age of 22, he built his first “Spec” house. He has owned and partnered in Building and Development companies throughout his entire career. Russell obtained Real Estate Sales experience while working for a firm located in the UK and in Spain selling resort real estate. Upon returning to the United States, Russell built Luxury Custom Homes and sold Real Estate in the New England area and when he returned to Colorado, he continued his path in the building and real estate industries. Mr. Burton has been awarded both the prestige’s Volunteer of the Year and Builder of the Year Awards by the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver. His homes won numerous awards such as Built Green and 1st Place Awards throughout the years in the Parade of Homes. Russell has been featured on HGTV and in several industry publications. He is both a licensed Builder and Real Estate Broker in the state of Colorado and has training and certifications in Construction Dispute Resolution. With over 30 years of experience in the building and real estate fields, Russell seeks to continue to serve clients in their building and real estate efforts as an Owner's Representative in the luxury custom home industry. Russell believes in the value of service to the community. Currently he has a seat on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Foundation and is actively involved in the mission and efforts of that organization by contributing time and labor to making homes accessible to those less fortunate. He has also supported other outreach programs by serving as a volunteer in disaster recovery efforts after Hurricane IKE in Houston, Texas/ Galveston, Texas and led an effort to build over 30 temporary homes for “Homes for Haiti” following the earthquake in 2009.
