Roxann Mckenzie is a Greetings: My name is Roxann Mckenzie. I am a registered nurse. I graduated from Keiser University in May of 2022 with my bachelor's degree, I am board certified and I currently work for HCA. I am very passionate about my life of service and healing. I always make sure that my patients are well taken care of and their privacy is respected. Compassion and confidentiality is the key. When I was living in Jamaica, I cared for an elderly lady for two years, who was bed ridden. During that time, I gave her baths in bed, washed and combed her hair, and comforted and cared for her. I was her main source of comfort. For meals, I had to lift her up from the bed and place her in the chair. I prepared her meals. She was a diabetic, so I had to follow a strict meal plan. I made sure that all her meals and medication were given on time. This experience inspired me to become a nurse. I did some volunteer work at my local hospital when I was living in Jamaica. I assisted the nurses in doing Geriatric, Pediatric, and Intensive care. I am very attentive person I love listening to what others have to say before giving feedback. Very dedicated to my work and I pride myself on my teamwork and communication skills. I am a quick study and I am willing to adapt to changes in my environment.
