Roshan Gopalakrishnan Email & Phone Number | After completing my undergraduate degree in Electronics & Communication, I joined National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut for pursuing master of technology. In NIT, I got opportunity to work with INTEL India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore, as a technical graduate intern. In Intel, I was working on pre-silicon validation of performance monitoring unit. After my masters, I joined Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore for my PhD. In NTU, I gathered knowledge on Low Power Neuromorphic circuits and Machine Learning. After my PhD, I joined a startup accelerator, Entrepreneur First (EF) in 2016, their first batch in Singapore. I gained a lot of knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship. Later, I joined Temasek laboratories, NUS for a short duration where, I worked on neuromorphic vision sensors. Then I joined Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR as a scientist in the field of neuromorphic computing. In order to experience the industry and startup culture, I moved to Rapsodo as a computer vision engineer where I am developing traditional computer vision and deep learning algorithms. In the future, I would like to work on solutions involving multiple disciplines, in roles which require a healthy blend of Technical, Managerial and Creative expertise.
