It was a masterpiece of taste. Every Sunday after that she lovingly taught me to cook. After years of Sundays cooking with my beloved grandmom she passed away leaving me with a determination of being a chef and making the people who ate my food happy. I started cooking at pizza shops and delis until landing a great position with Starwood hotels as a Culinary Supervisor at a Sheraton in Philadelphia. I was fortunate to have 2 great mentors who showed me the ropes. From there I started task forcing with Starwood and worked at 6 world renowned brands from Boston to Florida. I spent 12 years with Starwood and also 2 years with Kimpton Hotels and contract work at a hoity-toity country club. after that in late 2017 a tragic event forced me to leave Boston and come home to New Jersey. It was time for a change but my burning desire to cook was still there. So, I went and invested in a Chefs for Seniors franchise with my biggest supporter and love of my life.
