From 2001 up to 2010 he was with the Dutch research institute TNO in Eindhoven. The last successful project in TNO was the creation of the Spatial ALD project and in later phase this became the spin-off called SoLayTec. In 2010 he was one of the Co-Founders of SoLayTec, who wrote the business plan, found the right investors, setup the supplier network to work together on a risk / reward basis and start to develop the market for SoLayTec. Which resulted in several LOI’s and the first product sold before the company was even started. From December 2010 onwards, he is the Marketing and Sales director at SoLayTec. Roger has published several patents, scientific papers or is the co-author. Furthermore he writes articles in international magazine of his playing field and is a Senior in his area of Photovoltaic production equipment and received several awards with SoLayTec. He travels the world to meet his customers, attends conference / exhibitions, gives workshops and for sure knows exactly how to combine technical sales, marketing and business without any doubt.
