Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of going through all stages of audiovisual projects (cameraman, editor, producer, screenwriter and director) and working with many people from the most diverse areas of communication (journalism, TV and cinema ). As a result, I became a versatile filmmaker and my passion for storytelling grew bigger. I started my career more than 20 years ago, still as a student of Journalism, making underwater images for Rede Globo soap operas (I was a PADI Diving Instructor). I became, then, an intern and worked as editor and cameraman for independent production companies. I traveled a lot and paved my way to becoming a director. I learned to be a professional who has knowledge of all stages of the audiovisual production process and when I followed my independent path, I was able to improve this feature even more. In addition to directing and producing documentary films, docudramas, TV shows and series that have been shown at film festivals and television channels (such as GNT, Canal Brasil, CanalOFF, TNT, Canal Futura and Al Jazzera), I have also made short fiction and socio-environmental films for international groups such as Educational TV in London, Ellen MacArthur Foundation (EMF) and Global Environment Fund (GEF). As an author, I led a writers' room in the development of a fiction series for the FOX channel, wrote several scripts and even ventured into comics, creating the comic book "OLYMPIA - the lost history". In recognition of my audiovisual achievements, I was honored to receive, in 2016, the Pedro Ernesto Medal, the main honor that the City Council of Rio de Janeiro pays to those who stand out the most in Brazilian society. I keep creating new projects, eager for new stories and partnerships.
