Rodney Metoyer Email & Phone Number | I am the Director of Research and Development at BioMojo, a biomedical solutions company dedicated to improving the safety, efficiency, capacity, and performance of healthcare. I combine an engineer’s understanding of dynamical systems with the practical perspective on physiology that I obtained as a combat medic with the 82nd Airborne Division. At BioMojo I perform duties ranging in scope from project engineer to principle investigator. In my role as a project engineer, I apply my medical modeling and simulation expertise across several projects involving enhanced physiology simulation technologies for applications involving medical training and research. As a principle investigator I oversee the development of transformative systems in both the education and clinical domains. My research interests are in the analysis and engineering of complex, nonlinear dynamical systems, both biological and mechanical. Although I no longer wear a uniform, my two basic responsibilities remain uppermost in my mind – accomplishment of my mission and the welfare of my soldiers. As a civilian engineer, my soldiers are all those who stand in defense of our nation, and my mission is to contribute to technologies that enhance their health and welfare. I am passionate about any project with the potential to improve the lives of our warfighters.
