He’s helped produce culture shows in colleges and universities all around the Bay Area, started a YouTube channel that’s been featured by Upworthy and Steve Harvey, and even shot a television pilot for the Food Network. In 2014 he joined the global non-profit Kollaboration.org which aims to boost BIPOC representation in mainstream media, and at the end of 2016 joined VidCon. As a part of the VidCon team, Rodney produced stage shows both in the U.S. and internationally that have brought the likes of Anna Kendrick, Derek Hough, Liza Koshy, Markiplier, Ayo and Teo, and the Try Guys to the VidCon mainstage. His shows are regularly the most attended events at VidCon and segments from them have amassed more than 30 million views online. Since then, Rodney has taken his love for developing live shows and content for the biggest events in the world and brought them to the tech industry, where at places like Twitter and Discord he led the biggest brand activations, and IRL surprise and delight for communities and customers around the world. Rodney also got a callback for when auditioned for Hamilton the Musical and insists on riding that story for as long as he possibly can.
