There's nothing like it, and I've been so blessed to be able to devote so much over many years. I am currently a ticketing professional with 17+ years of experience. It is SO important to make sure the fans are enjoying every bit of their night out. It has been my pleasure to be in the trenches at shows from intimate clubs and theater events, to major filmings and sold out stadiums. I have gained quite a lot of insight over the years to be able to assist countless concertgoers face to face, through social media, by writing and posting copy, and by phone for all their questions and ticketing needs. In addition to pleasing the fans, it is also SO important to meet all of the needs of the tour and artists themselves on night of show. They need to be able to rest easy in a job well done on our end so both the artists on the stage, as well as every fan in the audience are having the time of their life. Before I was a part of Live Nation, I was lucky enough to score an internship for a local independent promoter, which turned into employment. My duties there ran the gamut, and I was surrounded by truly wonderful people who helped me to grow and understand many different aspects of our business. I was able to grow with skills in finance, marketing, engagement, ticketing, & customer service. Prior to working for any promoter, or anyone else for that matter. I happened to visit the Trading Post at Red Rocks Amphitheatre when I was just 16 years old, and see a help wanted sign there for concession work at concerts for the summer season. I filled out an application on the spot, and surprised my mother later the same day when I came home and said: "I got a job!" What a thrill, slinging nachos and pizza - then eventually beer (when I was old enough to serve :)) Those long summer nights were an incredible way to start earning a paycheck, and begin to understand what it meant to be a part of a team and business. Those were definitely the good ole days.
