I had installed over 3000 Card Readers, Door Contacts, Electric Strikes, Magnetic Locks, and RTE ( Request to Exit ) Buttons. During My 12 years in the Low Voltage, Telecom & Technologies Industry, I have picked up some non-technology soft skills such as Customer Service Skills that I had picked up during my employment at Comtech Technical Solutions as a Chief Technician. I have also picked up management skills as I was a supervisor over 10 workers as a Senior Field Technician at my last employer, Go Com Telecommunication Services. I have also worked in a corporate IT Office as a Senior IT Administrator at Creative Expressions Embroidery Co Where I had to manage a medium size network along with the company website. As well, I worked as an intern at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn for 4 months learning the ins and outs of working in a high fast paced work environment in the Healthcare Facility as an IT Support. I’m a well detailed oriented worker who loves her work and can work alone or with a team as I have worked with many different sizes of teams in the telecommunications and technologies sector. I have a 12 Year career in the Low volt/Access Control, Telecommunication, Network, and Computer Repair & Maintenance industry. I have performed over 1000+ Hours in Cable infrastructure and installations, Network Installation and Maintenance, and POTS Installations and Maintenance. I have installed many Layer 2 & 3 Routers, Switches, hubs, Firewalls, cable installs, Terminating Cat6,5e, and Coaxial Lines, I have also worked on Different systems such as Comelit, Airphone, Kerry Systems. I had installed over 3000 Card Readers, Door Contacts, Electric Strikes, Magnetic Locks, and RTE ( Request to Exit ) Buttons. . I have also installed CCTV Security cameras, Polycom/Cisco/ Nortel VoIP Phones, Cisco/Aruba/Meraki WAPs as well as Fortinet Devices. However, I’m currently in the process of obtaining a renewal of my CompTIA A+, NET+, CCNA. I do Have my OSHA 30 and NYC DOB 10 HRSite Safety Card but I’m constantly always making sure to stay abreast with the current Standards and practices of the Information Technology Industry. I am always open to different positions as well
