In 2021, I came on board as founding CEO of Fountain Health Insurance. But for people to be able to access these new revolutionary items they need to access them through health insurance coverage. And that’s where we come in. Health insurance is in my blood. I am part of a multi-generational insurance family. I started the business at age 16 working at my father’s agency. I learned from day one the value of transparency and honesty in dealing with clients – even if it sometimes means giving them an answer they may not want to hear. For over three decades, I have advised companies ranging from start-ups to those at the top of Fortune 500 list. I also have launched multiple captive insurance companies including American Global Reinsurance Company and, most recently, XO Health Reinsurance Company. Over the years, I have become a specialist in customized self-funded plans that have historically and consistently achieved a 20 to 30 per cent savings for my clients year after year. Saving my clients money is my superpower! The average health insurance plan increases by 10 per cent a year. For example, I had one client approach me 18 years ago when they were faced with a 47 per cent increase on their health insurance plan. Not only was I able to lower the cost of their insurance, but almost two decades later they are still paying less than they did before coming to me. Fountain Health now provides me with an opportunity to not only provide affordable healthcare, but to truly transform the health insurance industry and the quality of health care our country provides.
