Accepting the position of President TV Listing, I led the initiative to acquire TV Data, and within two years, successfully achieved this goal. Most recently, I have been involved in the start up of three new organizations. In 1996, I was recruited by a Canadian company with no experience and/or presence in the United States. In 2000, I was integral in a Greenfield start-up and two years ago, was once again recruited by a Canadian company whose first attempt to expand their services into the United States was unsuccessful. The first company, Phasecom Systems grew to five locations producing over 21M annual revenue with an EBITDA of over 18%. The second initiative – 180 Connect, where I not only served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Business Development Officer but was a co-founder as well, grew into the largest cable and satellite fulfillment company in North America after its humble beginning of one truck in September 2000. At 180 Connect, I orchestrated the acquisition of three companies, one of which was the 200M bankrupt public company – Viasource. Prior to being acquired by DirecTV, 180 Connect was billing over 350M annually with over 4000 field technician and 85 offices. The third venture, Dependable HomeTech, grew to four locations and billed over 850K monthly with one year.
