With over ten years of experience in emergency services and healthcare, I have returned to education to deepen my knowledge of nursing processes. This includes assessing both physical and psychosocial needs, as well as managing chronic conditions. As a nurse, I provide care and education to patients in a constantly evolving environment. I have worked as part of a multidisciplinary team at several hospitals, including Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, Sutter Roseville Medical Center, and Honor Health's Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center. My experience in Trauma and Emergency Services has taught me advanced interpersonal communication and adaptation skills, which are essential for providing care across the whole spectrum of life. I take pride in caring for underserved populations and enjoy the challenges and excitement of emergency nursing. As a student representative of Samuel Merritt University, I have joined the Sacramento Chapter Board of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners (CANP).
