Following a major health scare in 2018 during which I was very dependent on our National Health Service, I wanted to be able to give something back to the NHS in a voluntary manner. I'm very proud to have qualified as a voluntary Blood Biker with Severn Freewheelers who provide critical transport services to the NHS, completely free of charge, as part of the National Association of Blood Bikers. This charitable organisation is 100% funded through generous donations so please give generously. Early retirement has also given me the opportunity for more travel with my partner and to resume my enjoyment of golf which has been on hold for a number of year. My last role within the Dell Technologies Finance vertical included: - Having responsibility for representing the complete portfolio of Dell Technologies offerings into my clients and ensuring the high level of customer service expected by the clients is maintained. - Global Account Management of a major Australian Insurance Client - Managing a virtual team of product sales and technical specialists who engaged with me to support major accounts. - Engaging with all levels of management in both my clients and Dell As an IT Sales Specialist with 26 years of sales and 15 years of technical experience, my attributes include - Global Account Management experience - Effective management, sales and commercial skills. - Excellent technical background and understanding of IT systems, gained through many years’ working with major blue chip companies. - Ability to deliver a quality IT service. - Ambitious and forward-looking professional who has demonstrated an ability to develop innovative IT solutions that have enabled customers to maximise the return on their investments. - Consistent record of target over-achievement during a long sales career.
