In my role for this company I have opened three different restaurant concepts, each with a unique brand and trained more than 800 employees and developed many training manuals and techniques for each brand. I have also held communication positions outside of the service/hospitality industry most notably as a communication intern for Rep. Kathy McMorris Rogers on Capitol Hill where I was responsible for creating media logs, translating documents, and posting on the office’s social media accounts. I also had the pleasure of working as a social media and blog intern with a media startup company called IntellectualsDC located in Georgetown. In this position I was responsible for creating online content for all of the company’s social media accounts as well as managing our online presence with our readers and followers.I produced approximately 30 published blogs during my time there. As a student, I excelled in courses like Entrepreneurial Opportunity Analysis, which focused on branding, marketing, and advertising, and Negotiation and Conflict Management, which taught me valuable techniques for achieving goals in a negotiation.
