HR workstream leader for multiple workstreams, seeking to deliver R1.4bn of synergy value from Barclays purchase of a majority stake in Absa. HR lead on the ‘buy side’ of deals to transfer ownership of Barclays 9 African businesses to Absa. Part of the Absa Deal Team including accountability for all HR due diligence. Part of the Absa Corporate & Business Bank (C&BB) Executive Committee managing a business of c3,000 staff. Accountable for all aspects of HR, including leadership of a team of 38 staff.
