Proficient in bare metal programming (STM32, NXP, ARM7, PIC, Renesas, Hitachi, Philips, etc), full life cycle, windows-based firmware, bootloaders, and application programming. Also worked on diagnostics of digital/analogue systems. Implemented code for motors, solenoids, LEDs (Tx & Rx), GPIO, signal processing, UART, SPI, GPIO, Interrupts, AD, DA. Familiar with FreeRTOS and Event driven code. I contributed to the development of the ccTalk serial protocol (firmware), used in the money transaction and point-of-sale industry. ccTalk is one of the two protocols specified by BACTA for use in all AWP machines. Validators and Recyclers across various automatic payment equipment use ccTalk to communicate with the host controller. My daily toolkit included GitLab, Git Extensions (Git GUI), JIRA, Coverity, and Black Duck scans. For project documentation, we utilized SharePoint. I focused on embedded software development, adhering to structured software design principles and coding standards (including MISRA-C:2004). I also played a key role in team development and mentoring. As a Team Leader, my responsibilities encompassed several key areas: - Manage the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process using OMNIFY for releasing new currency files to our customers. - Above involved ensuring all testing and documentation was done before creating and releasing the ECN. - I facilitated communication with other departments, including Technical Support, Compliance, Production and Customers. - Conducting performance reviews using ORACLE PeopleSoft. - Ensuring the Intellectual Capital (IC) Decks remained up to date. - Overseeing day-to-day team operations. - Interviewing candidates and managing their onboarding process. - Providing support to other departments, such as production, customer support, and compliance. In parallel with these duties, I continued to contribute to firmware development.
