Mindfulness engages our curiosity. In addition to the typically verbal aspect of counseling, in mindfulness-based counseling I will ask you to be an active participant in the process. We may use movement, words, or a variety of other active techniques to enhance the therapy. It is not necessary that you be familiar with mindfulness to benefit from this style of counseling.
