I was employed by the Horse Trust, the oldest horse charity in the UK, shortly after completing my degree at university, where I spent 11 years under the mentorship of Brigadier Paul Jepson, the Veterinary Director and CEO. Upon leaving the Horse Trust in 2010, where I had gained experience in every facet of building a successful charity, I went on to establish a charity of my own. In 2011, with investment secured, I set up the online horse charity Horses4Homes. A novel and innovative charity that would help any owner to safely rehome their horse. The charity was such a success and fulfilled such a huge need that in 2014 it successfully rehomed more horses than any other horse charity in the UK, it drew over 50,000 visitors to its website each month and its turnover in 2014 was in excess of 150k. Upon Leaving Horses4Homes in 2015 I set up www.localhorsehelp.co.uk, an innovative website where horse owners and riders can source recommended, equine services in their local area and read genuine customer reviews. I successfully sold this business in March 2017. In April 2016, I launched www.righthorserighthome.co.uk a website and service enabling horse owners and buyers to more easily purchase or sell their horses using a much safer and more efficient / robust platform. Offering totally new search mechanisms for buyers that really matter. Giving sellers a new, much easier and less stressful way to sell their horses; matching owners with serious buyers and not timewasters. The website has been a huge success, traffic to the website and engagement in its services has far surpassed expectations. People come back to use us time and time again and the testimonials and reviews we receive are very high indeed.
