I have been involved in teaching and training my entire career, to different audiences from lay persons to fellow clinicans of different backgrounds. It is an important skill to be able to relay information in diverse ways to facilitate the personal development of staff and as a route to ensuring clinical excellence and unification of message. In recent years staff wellbeing has become an area of great importance to successful businesses, and with my psychiatric and menopause experience, I led by experience at HCML as clinical director. However, I realised my true passion lies in the art of general practice, and so I have returned to that profession full-time
