In this role I help connect patients in crisis to much needed behavioral health services. In my previous role as a Resident Services Coordinator at Berry Manor on Chicago’s Southside I helped senior residents focus on their overall health and wellness by alleviating social isolation and promoting goal setting and completion. As a Medical Case Manager at Heartland Alliance Health, I provided medical and supportive case management services to people living with HIV/AIDS. In this role, I worked with my participants to assess and dismantle barriers to physical and mental wellness. Previously, I also worked as a Caseworker for the Illinois Department of Human Services where I helped residents from across the state gain access to Cash, SNAP, and Medical benefits. I am a graduate of Roosevelt University with a B.A. in Psychology and am now pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at DePaul University. I am a strong believer in service, advocacy, and social justice. I am excited to bring these values to my work every day.
