My work career began as a Public Relations Officer at the San Fernando City Corporation, where I was able to have experiences one not normally have access to upon entering the working world. Planning city spanning events, alongside the City Council and my team, became part of my daily routine. I then moved on to become an Insurance Agent for the largest company in the industry, Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited. Being the introvert that I was and having no experience in the Financial Sector, that was indeed a strange move for me. A change that I welcomed as it allowed me to come out of my shell and travel around our nation meeting new people and learning new things from them, as well as, the company itself. Finally, I went on to become the General Manager of the Metal Works Division of the Red House Restoration Project. A huge departure from any of the above to say the least, however, I was grateful for the opportunity to interact and network with people that would usually be outside of my comfort zone. Thanks for sticking around this far. I hope you can recognise the substance of my experiences.
