Randy Griffiths Email & Phone Number | Randy chose to be posted to CFB Trenton, Ontario at the new school for the Terminal Radar Aircraft Control Systems (TRACS) where the latest technology was being installed at Canada’s largest bases. Randy became interested in computers and built his first computer by buying a bare motherboard, buying all the computer chips, capacitors, resistors, etc and soldering it himself. He was then posted to Comox, BC where he repaired home PC's for a local store. Randy was later posted to Germany and then Kingston where his computer skills were noted and he was asked to build their network. At Kingston, he built a network that spanned 11 buildings and went through numerous upgrades. His last upgrade involved adding a secondary network for the school. It was fully virtualized complete with numerous SANs, classrooms, and a backup system. This network was setup to teach networking, SAN, VMware, SQL, SharePoint, MS Server 2008, TCP I/P and administration of these systems. For almost 32 years, Randy has been involved in computers and the last 17 networking. He was relied on as a Network Specialist who has been involved in numerous projects, discussion groups, networking planning, and as solution architecture at the highest levels for the military.
