Made journeyman ~ 3 years later and held that position until 1990. Promoted to mechanical supervior, welding supervisor, department schedule cordinator, assistant superintendent, and superintendent of modifications and maintenance support. I have plant startup, refuel activites, refuel outage, contract manager for S&W,SWEC for 5 years ,plant repairs, pump, valve, modification oversight, plant services, fin team, x-ray and code welding, large department and project management oversight experience. I was asked to consider moving to another department out of my area of expertice by sr. management to help the security department become part of the plant team, and foster, engrain the SCWE concepts and practices, and to resolve long standing attitude issues, lack of communcations, that resulted in allogations and grievances in some instances. Since moving into the security superintendent role in 2007 I was the POC for the transitioning process that took place in 2009 from a contract security force to an Entergy Security department. I have experience dealing with the NRC, performing graded exercises, overseeing day to day security and activites of the facility. After 36 years with the same company I have decided to retire in December 2013. I have had a wonderful and fulfilling career with Entergy. However I am not retiring from work I plan to perform contract work where needed.. RETIRED AS OF DECEMBER 13TH 2013
