In his first lecture he opened with "There is one thing in life that you cannot do... and that is; not choose!" Every minute of every day we are all making choices. It is those choices that define who we are. This all translates into my business philosophy. Life is about relationships and the quality of those relationships that can truly enhance our lives. The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad. I have learned that I can supplement my shortages by surrounding myself with trustworthy people who's strengths compliment my weaknesses. No one is great or even good at everything. If we remember that no one is perfect including ourselves, then we are in a better position to respect and accept people for whom they are and to understand and help one another.
