Today our world population, oil demand, life expectancy and CO2 Emissions has more than doubled, while our world GDP has quadrupled. During the last decades our world experienced a massive and historical transformation, but this might be nothing comparable to what the next decades are preparing for us. Larger (10 billion people) and much older populations (more than 100 years old) , massive economic growth (up to USD 280 trillion), energy transitions (de-carbonization), technological convergence (singularity) and business collaboration (circular economy), digitalization and climate change will have the potential to trigger the 4th Industrial revolution, the "Sustainable", “Digital” and “Citizens” one. During this transition many companies, industries and nations will peril will new ones will flourish. We are living historical and strategic times! Passionate about megatrends and disruptive technologies, my interest resolves around the intersection between economics, business, technology and society and how industries, governments and companies can maximize the value of the upcoming megatrends; specially the chemical industry. My experience unfolds around business strategy, economics, the chemical industry, business/industry turn around and sustainable and strategic value creation. My passion about how to create a better world by using economics, science and technology and my conviction about how climate change and digitalization would trigger the next industrial revolution and how the Chemical Industry, once again, will be at the core of it.
