Rachel Epperson Email & Phone Number | I attended the University of Oregon straight out of highschool and received a BS in Family and Human Services with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Throughout my undergrad program I interned at multiple social service organizations working with younger children from a child protective services setting, to a preschool, to researching the effects of an educational video game on a child’s executive functioning. Right out of my undergraduate program I was hired on to Bright Horizons at Kirkland. I began as a teacher before becoming lead teacher in an early preschool classroom. I have trained two co-teachers for this position who continue to work at our center. My curriculum has been recognized by Bright Horizons for their Classroom of the Week program. Now, I am looking to bring these experiences to a leadership position to allow me to streamline and create efficient ways for teachers to thrive in their classrooms and at our center while maintaining the high quality outcomes expected at Bright Horizons.
