I have always had an interest in accounting and my Diploma helped me further this interest. The modules I took involved many aspect in the finance and accounting sector, and in my final year I completed a module specific to balancing of account, taxation and cost management accounting. In my Final year I completed a module called WORK INTERGRATED LEARNING that involved me working in various companies, like pick it up, which I was balancing their accounts, learning more about the company’s finances. I have experience in using Excel MS windows packages and Sage pastel. I took experience in Insurance, having worked full time at company called Liberty from 2015, working in customer service. This experience has taught me the importance of ascertaining customers’ needs and providing clear and accurate information in response to those needs, and to work effectively in a team. When the situation demanded it, I am always able to manage myself well, take the initiative, work under pressure, and according to time constraints.
