I enjoy leading others to success, serving the community around me, and I truly enjoy working together as a team. ➤ WHY A CAREER IN SUPPLY CHAIN FOR ME While it is always been critical to our survival, I believe supply chain is the most important job in the world right now because of the pandemic and knowing that I am striving to become part of that is very exciting to me. My day-to-day life is a supply chain, from what I use, do, or eat. Many of the processes that I do throughout the day can be either hard or easy. Sometimes the easiest solution to a problem is not the best solution, so I try to figure out the best solution to the challenges I face. I am also pursuing a collateral in International Business. I have been fortunate to have traveled to Italy, Germany, Ireland, France, United Kingdom, and learned about how there cultures are critical to a businesses success. While my plans to study abroad this year have been canceled because of COVID, UT is exploring other ways to provide a similar experience without physically traveling abroad. ➤ WHY PEOPLE ENJOY WORKING WITH ME They can rely on me to get what I need done while also having fun. ➤ TECHNICAL SKILLS I enjoy learning new technologies and pick them up easily. I am highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. I use JMP software for statistical analysis and apply my critical thinking skills to develop different ways of looking at and sharing information. I am currently enhancing my skill set by earning a green belt in Lean Six Sigma. ➤ HOW I MOTIVATE OTHERS By recognizing individual contributions and expressing my appreciation of the value they bring to the group. ➤ LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY Being completely honest with those you work with and having the confidence and dedication to help support your team. By having great self motivation, my growth as a leader is not by chance, it’s by choice. ➤ BUILDING A BALANCED, HIGH-QUALITY LIFE Working out daily keeps me centered and energized. In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing the piano, guitar, pickle ball and golf.
