Pranav Mahajan is a I'm a doctoral researcher at University of Oxford. As a neuroscientist and a AI researcher, my research interests are interdisciplinary and lie in computational pain neuroscience, safe AI and robot learning. I'm currently focusing on pain and aversive learning in context of decision-making and in general and how we can leverage algorithms to help humans heal better. I employ emerging technologies such as virtual reality into my experiments and ideas from machine learning systems to build models of animal cognition. I truly believe in a symbiotic relationship between natural and artificial intelligence.
