Poppy Niosi is a Pivot. That sums up my work philosophy. When something doesn't work, pivot, twist, turn until the puzzle piece fits. This is echoed in much of the work I have done in multiple industries. In the health and wellness industry, every body is different, every body responds differently and being able to listen, relate, adjust and personalize to maximize results is crucial to client retention. Being able to pivot is an absolute must in the field of education. Dealing with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, changes in mental and emotional development, as well as wading through the varying processes and standards put in place by administrators and educational staff is like a giant game of Tetris. While working in the advertising/marketing sphere, I regularly needed to change tack and revise production schedules as I worked with strong personalities that often clashed against each other. It was my job to pull the team together to get the work done. Last but most definitely not least, in the hospitality industry, the ability to pivot is a foundational necessity for success when navigating the sea of change presented at every moment. Knowing how to think fast, prioritize and execute in a practical and hospitable way that fosters connectedness is the key to success.
