Since February 2018 I participated in the international trainee program of the Berner group. For this, I have worked on different projects for a fixed timeframe of 6 months in different regions within the group. The first period I worked on the implementation of the online strategy B.social, which I have written, within the working area of the Region West (The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg). On top of that I was as a project manager responsible for the organization of our participation in the Contacta fair. The second period I worked for Albert Berner Montageteknik AB, our Swedish subsidary. Here, I was responsible for the implementation, adaptation and further strengthening of eCommerce activities and service concepts with additional local solutions, adapted to the Swedish market. Besides that I helped the Swedish colleagues with the start-up of the first Swedish ProfiPoint in Stockholm regarding shop appearance, shelf- and space management, development of check-out (scanning) possibilities and customer loyalty programs. In January 2019 I started a new project within the International Electronic Commerce (IEC) department of the Berner Trading Holding GmbH, our headquarters in Künzelsau.
