She is currently the Executive Coordinator to the CEO of the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) in Botswana. Otlaarongwa is the Agency’s Financial Mainstreaming Focal Person, responsible for advocacy of financial inclusion of the youth, women, people with disability and remote area dwellers. She implemented the CEDA Disability Mainstreaming Agenda in 2016, with the aim of improving access to funding by people with disabilities. In 2019 she championed the transcription of CEDA guidelines and application forms to braille for use by the blind and partially sighted. Furthermore, she is responsible for the Agency’s contribution to the Botswana annual statement on United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) and participates at the CSW sessions. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. She is also an alumnus of the University of Botswana. Otlaarongwa serves on the National Co-operative Development Coordinating Committee (NCDCC), a committee responsible for alignment of the cooperative agenda to national, regional and global covenants. She is also a member of the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) Trade Facilitation Reference Group, her main responsibility within the group is to provide expert advice in terms of available economic empowerment opportunities to SMEs in facilitating their participation in the AGOA market.
