My passion for art, design and architecture grew from a very early age, through the enthusiasm of changing shapes and colours to moving things around whilst curiously searching for the best balance between creativity and function. During my time on the degree, I worked on different, from small residential to average commercial construction projects, involving a collaborative effort within multidisciplinary teams. This taught me to coordinate design departments, liaise with clients and communicate ideas, budgets and deadlines. Work summary During my professional career I have developed the range of skills required to lead and manage design development projects for new construction as well as property renovation projects. Overseeing the entire process from the initial client facing conversations through to the supervision of daily tasks and the final handover. As a strong asset to a company, I would always make sure the customer needs are met. Nevertheless, the ability to manage expectations is an important skill along with being honest and transparent with the client, which always leads to a better outcome. If issues arise, effective communication and problem solving becomes very handy which encourage my confidence I can deliver successful projects and lead from the front. Being constantly provoked by the notion that, the good design management is the key towards achieving an appealing, innovative and sustainable built environment, helped me to developed abilities which allow me to look at the design development process from a highly collaborative perspective, and to understand the importance of a good teamwork in the construction industry.
