As an adult, I’ve seen all the latest superhero movies, collect comic books & have even visited Fan Expo. Being a superhero geek has served me well; it has given me a sense of adventure. While I don’t have a cape or Iron Man suit, I have flown around the world to visit far-off countries in Europe & South America, as well as Japan & some Caribbean Islands. And, though I may not have x-ray vision or invulnerability, I do have a 3rd degree Brown Belt in Kenpo Karate. I believe that being a superhero geek has also served me well as a leader in the workplace. I’ve worked in 8 positions (starting at entry level) for 26yrs., always striving to improve my skills & advance within the company. I’m now the Supervisor for an entire department. E~ Energetic I have a passion for getting work done & doing it well. My zest for work shows, in that, I am always the first to arrive & the last to leave the office. R~ Responsible Being a leader requires great responsibility: I ensure the safety of my crews & the budgetary success of my department. O~ Organized I thrive on creating organization out of chaos. Creating systems & methods allows me to run my crews with the greatest efficiency of time & money. E~ Erudite Knowledge is my ally. Going back to school has helped me, not only advance my career but, to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in technology. (Side note: I’ll be learning Spanish this fall.)
