After studying economics and gaining a bachelor in business administration at the university of applied sciences in St. Gallen in 1994, Winterthur International welcomed me as Property underwriter for the EMEA region. In 1998, I moved to London to become a training manager for project ‘GENIUS’. Back in Switzerland, I opened the door to the broking world @Marsh & McLennan where I gained insight on the structuring, placement and negotiation of large global property programs for U.S. clients. 6 years later, I returned to underwriting @Swiss Re starting with U.S. property business, then EMEA property, followed by an additional team leader role in DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland). Corporate Solution's regionalisation strategy led to my last role at Swiss Re as Head Property Switzerland. In 2020 Aon gave me the exciting opportunity to head the growing Property Broking unit in Zurich where we support our clients with data, analytics and expertise in the business of making better decisions. In 2022 I completed my studies in Insurance Broking at the ZHAW.
