At PwC I have established and improved Shared Services in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. I have led RFPs, negotiations and the implementation of outsourcing contracts, one of which achieved a 40M annual cost reduction. I have also established centres of expertise for Accounting, Controls, Tax and Treasury. Creating the right team and culture on my projects is important to me. Two of the projects I have led have won MCA Highly Commended awards (Heineken Finance Transformation and Baker Hughes Commercial Excellence). I have a strong industry background having spent 6 years at Johnson & Johnson (J&J). Here, I helped set up the finance business partnering function for the European consumer business and the first shared service centre in J&J UK. Outside of work, I am a School Governor at a local OFSTED rated Outstanding Primary School. I am the chair of the Teaching, Learning & Assessment Committee and member of the Finance Committee.
