After a brief stint in Education I was the Centre Director of the first Outward Bound School to be established in South Africa. Prior to becoming Director of the Leadership Development Institute in 2000, I managed the Industrial LEAD Programme which instilled in participants the required skills, values and attitudes to lead in a changing South Africa. Many ex participants went on the achieve great success in organisations across SA and further afield. I have in excess of 30 years experience in the facilitation of team building/effectiveness programmes for a wide range of clients across both the public and private sectors. On returning to the UK in 2016 I decided to do something completely different after 30 years in a corporate environment. Am now managing the property of a HNW individual in the English countryside. Set my own goals, deliver an all round service to the highest standard in an environment conducive to enjoyment and fulfillment. So good to work in a place where there is mutual respect and trust between employer and employee. WHY I DO IT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ I wanted to do something completely different - refreshingly rewarding. While working at the LDI gave me the opportunity to fulfill a passion,the complete change of direction has been most welcome. WHO I AM ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ A people's person who spends a great deal of time raising funds for organisations that assist others, particularly those with terminal illnesses. Both Reach for a Dream and CANSA have benefited through numerous fundraising endeavours that I have been responsible for over the years. Love the outdoors, travelling - particularly camping and exploring new destinations.
