As EVP, Governance & Regulatory Solutions of First North Consulting, Paula applies her unique experience to deliver specialized regulatory compliance and other advisory services to financial services clients and acting as the OSC-appointed monitor and compliance consultant for registrants under terms and conditions. Paula also sits on the Board of Directors of Caldwell Investment Management. As former General Counsel to Numinus Wellness, Field Trip Health, and Reunion Neuroscience, Paula has a proven track record of bridging traditional financial services, capital markets, and risk underwriting with the emerging psychedelics industry. Notably, she led the listing of the first psychedelics company offering psilocybin to consumers on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the first listed on the Global Select Tier of the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. In the psychedelics field, Paula has managed Canadian and US securities offerings totaling around 150MM and oversaw the insurance portfolio for three public companies. Paula was named among the Top 200 Psychedelics Lawyers (2023, 2024) and Top 50 Female Leaders in Toronto (Women We Admire, 2022).
