This interest kept growing, so now I actively try to find new things to do with code. I've self taught myself Swift. I liked the idea of learning a new language that not many other people would know. I created an app, similar to cookeese, that took a recipe and spoke it to the user. It also had a timer function that would send a push notification if the user had closed the app. After that I started at NSS and learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#. I loved the immersion into the coding environment that NSS provided. Ever since day one I've been pushed to become not only a better programmer, but also a better problem solver. This led me to be one of the people that others could come to to talk through the problems in their code.
