In 2006 I became a Trainee Designer in the Mechanical/Structural/Piping field and have worked and studied my way into the Principal Mechanical Designers role with Worley working on site at Alcoa's Alumina refinery. Having Experience as Trades person gives extensive incite into the way things work and are designed and constructed giving a Designer the upper hand when it comes to producing drawings for the trades person to work from. It also helps with ease of installation and because you have a better understanding of areas needed to work in and how things go together.
